For the businesses that outgrew off-the-shelf

Every successful business eventually outgrows the tools that started it.

We build the platform that comes after. Built for your specific operation. Owned by you when you launch. Kept standing as you grow.

0101 — The pattern

It starts slowly, then all at once — on the day the launch traffic hits.

For years we built the way most agencies still do: WordPress + a plugin shelf, SaaS glued together, spreadsheets running the real operations. It works until the business gets serious scale. Then it stops working — usually slowly, then suddenly, on the day the launch traffic hits or the membership crosses some invisible line.

A real chain of command needs more than four user roles. Real money moving between accounts needs more than custom post types and crossed fingers. A training program with certifications, prerequisites, and an actual audit trail needs more than a plugin that solves 80% of the problem while fighting the others that solve the rest.

At some point we noticed we weren't fighting our clients' requirements. We were fighting our architecture.

So we stopped fighting and built our own.

We were fighting our architecture.
So we stopped — and built our own.
0202 — What's underneath

23 packages. Written once, kept in production.

It's called Tome.

Twenty-three TypeScript packages. Identity, access control, content modeling, training systems, financial ledgers, real-time collaboration — every piece we'd rather not write twice, written once, kept in production. Tome is the substrate every Wabbit build runs on, and the reason builds that would take a team of eight take us a fraction of that.

It's not, currently, for sale. The way to benefit from Tome is to work with us. Eventually that may change. For now, the platform is how we build differently — faster, deeper, durably.

Who you'd be working with

What's a wabbit?

Not a guru on a stage with a countdown timer. Closer to the helper in the old craftsman stories — the one who listens longer than you'd expect before laying the first stone, and stays after the build is done to make sure it keeps standing.

We have big ears for a reason: it's the measure of how much we listen before we build anything at all.

Two ways we work — one ladder.

a Static site, owned

Static

$2,750 · live in 7 days · $39–750/mo

For service businesses that need a presence that brings them the right customers. Custom design on the same substrate every Wabbit build runs on, owned outright from launch, with a run-and-evolve tier you choose. If the business outgrows it, the build grows into a platform instead of getting thrown away.

Platform Builds

From $25K · quoted from the Sprint

For organizations whose tools have stopped fitting. We build the operating system you actually need — member structures with real permissions, ledgers with real auditability, training systems with real progression, operations with real visibility — on Tome, owned by you, with a retainer that keeps it alive instead of letting it rot between emergencies.

See the platform offer →

The way in is the same for both: a 15-minute call. We tell you which rung you actually need — including when it's the smaller one.

Owned by you when you launch. Kept standing as you grow.

0505 — The plan before the build

Roughly two weeks. Fixed fee. Fully credited if you proceed.

No platform build starts without an Architecture Sprint.

A scoped, paid engagement that produces the real plan before any build commits — exact cost, phased delivery, named risks, and the data model that actually fits how you operate. Roughly two weeks. Fixed fee. Fully credited toward the build if you proceed.

You don't commit $25K+ on a hunch. You commit it on a real plan. Either way, you walk away with the architecture document — even if you don't build with us.

0606 — How we work

No outbound. No sales team. Depth, not volume.

We take a handful of platform builds per quarter.

We don't run on outbound. We don't have a sales team. We don't take work we can't do well, and we don't pretend the calendar is bigger than it is.

What that means in practice: we're either booked, or carefully picking the next build. There is no version where we say yes to everyone — premium build for organizations who'd rather have it right than first. The trade we offer is depth, not volume.

If the timing isn't right, we'll tell you. If the work isn't a fit, we'll point you somewhere it is. Either way, no hard sell — the question on the call is whether we should build this together, not whether you should buy.

0707 — What we give away

No email wall. No upsell waiting at the end.

A lot of what we'd teach you, we give away.

The Library is open — essays, series, the manifesto, the methodology written out — no email wall, no upsell waiting at the end. If you'd rather a longer journey through the patterns underneath all of this, start where the teaching is free: ten emails, one a day, no pitch.

The next step

No pressure. No hard sell.

Outgrown your tools? Let's scope what comes next.

Tell us what's failing about your current setup. We read it the day it comes in, and we reply the same day or the next. Either we're a fit, or we'll point you somewhere that is.
